for this one. This smoothie is gluten-free, has only 148 calories, and is full of taste. It’s also an immunity booster because of the amount of pineapple in it.
One cup of pineapple provides more than your daily allowance of manganese, which helps you metabolize food. It’s got a ton of bromelain as well, which is basically an enzyme that aids digestion and keeps inflammation at bay.
Serves 2 and takes just a few minutes from start to finish.
- 1 cup diced pineapples
- 1 banana
- 3/4 cup plain, low-fat yogurt
- 1/2 cup ice
Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth. (Might take a little longer than normal just to make sure you’re getting the pineapple to be smooth.) You can find tons of other healthy smoothie options at the link above as well.
